Kring meeting 2026

Dear friends of KRING
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to this year’s KRING meeting in Rotterdam at de water authority "hoogheemraadschap Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard". We will welcome you from Sunday 20 September until Tuesday 22 September 2026.
We have done our best to put together an interesting program for you. In two days, we will show you the flood protection strategy of this part of the Dutch delta: Deltaprogram Rijnmond Drechtsteden. A region that is characterised with a busy urban area, large port and deep polders. Sea level rise brings major challenges for this area. We would like to tell you all about it and let you think about the long-term solutions.
The program includes visits to storm surge barriers, complex dike reinforcements and a big city with unembanked areas. You don’t want to miss this!
